I was the lead UX designer on SpringerMaterials, a material science database launched in April 2015. Practicing a collaborative Agile/Lean UX methodology my responsibilities included problem framing, hypothesis formulation and experiment design. I worked closely with other visual designers, UX designers,
developers, product owners, business analysts, QAs and stakeholders to produce interaction design; communicate thinking using wireframes; facilitate workshops (story maps; empathy maps; experience maps; user journeys and lean personas). I conducted extensive user research, usability testing,
competitor analysis and web analytics analysis.
IG is a global leader in online trading. As a senior member of the UX design team I helped provide clients with fast and flexible access to over 10,000 financial markets. An alpha version of their new web-trading platform was launched in January 2016. I lead the design piece for the alerting user journeys – a core part of a client’s trading strategy, a proxy for actual trades – setting, receiving and managing alerts. I also designed for the native Android mobile experience and collaborated closely with other cross-functional team members
and stakeholders on all areas of the product.
LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor is the leading online doctor service in the UK and Ireland. Practicing a collaborative Agile/Lean UX methodology, my focus was to replace the legacy consultation functionality, improving the patients’ questionnaire experience while allowing doctors to prescribe more safely and efficiently. This meant holistically relooking at the entire service experience. As such I advised the business strategically.
